As I am the main contributor to this blog, let me share few things about myself. I’ve been walking with the Lord for 30 years. Although with more detours then I’d like to admit, I have been steadfast in my pursuit of a more personal relationship with my savior
While theology abounds, and at times it may seem like every voice coming from a pulpit, or person of spiritual authority differs on what is “right” or “holy” or “good”, at the end of the day our relationship is with Jesus himself and through Him, God the Father and His Holy Spirit.
I do not make any claims to perfection, any claims to hear from the Lord better than anyone else, any claims that my voice is more important than others. The only claim I can make is salvation through repentance of sin, and the grace and love of Jesus.
The Lord meets each of us in our need, and at that moment when He is most assured of having our attention. In that is the intimate and personal nature of our walk with Him. He doesn’t sit on His throne and wait for us to finally get it right. He leads us ever forward, guiding us, calling to us, and waiting for us to surrender ourselves to Him.
This blog is designed to share stories and testimony of those very things. To help readers overcome, and enter into a healthier relationship with Christ by helping them understand that detours, obstacles, struggles, and failure are a part of everyone’s walk, and that it will never keep us from the love that created the foundation of salvation itself.
No human wisdom or understanding will ever take the place of that which Heaven pours out, and every word read on this site should be taken with an eye towards checking in with the Holy Spirit for validity and veracity.
God Bless you, and lead you. May Christ reveal himself to you, and bring you into a greater and fuller relationship with the Trinity.
