2nd Corinthians 9:7 – Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God Loves a cheerful giver.
Proverbs 11:25 – A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Luke 6:38 – Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Lately, there are times when it can seem as if the whole world has its hand out. I see GoFundMe pages every day in the news, I see events raising money for families in trouble, and people needing surgery, and the couple whose house burned down. I see people on Facebook wanting me to donate to every little thing you can imagine.
For some I think it’s easy to be cynical, but I don’t care. It doesn’t bother me. Let them ask. And why not. Life can be hard, and sometimes all someone needs is to know that they’re not alone. That people, even those they don’t know and may never meet, care enough to say, “here” and extend their hand to help. Our walk with Jesus requires us to put our eyes on things above not those down here, and so I give. Little bits where I can, larger bits where I can also. It’s what the word commmands us to do, as you can see from the verses above, and the many more like it that speak to the same.
I try to keep those things quiet. I don’t care to call attention to what I do in this capacity and I think that’s biblical. But I give, and I like to give. I don’t give to everyone or everything. I give to people I believe in and things I’ve asked the Lord about and gotten permission from Him to contribute to.
This is a new page for me, and I want it to be a great page. I want it to be a way for the body of Christ to see what others in the body are doing, and to be a part of those things if they choose to be. I want the people who show up on this page to be called to this page by the Lord, and to decide for themselves through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit whether or not they wish to give a little of what they have or a lot of what they have, to seed into the work that Jesus is doing here on Earth through some incredible people who have bravely decided to walk out the call on their lives. And if you don’t want to give, or can’t give, that’s okay, but feel free to spread the message, and together we can all see how the Lord moves His hand.
Some of the links you’ll see below will be for individuals, some will be for organizations, but all are stories and ministries that I believe are worth consideration of financial support, and all are ministries that I’ve given to myself. Pray, ask for discernment and let the Lord lead you into his will for your own finances.
Neither myself nor this blog benefit from this financially. It’s not about profit, it’s about the Kingdom, so please know that if you decide to donate, that every penny will go directly to those who are asking you to open your hearts to be a part of something unique and spirit filled, and beneficial to people looking for the hope and the grace that we are all already blessed with.
Alcyone Nettels – B(bethel)S(school)S(supernatural)M(ministry) Redding California
I had Alcyone send me her story a few months back and days after I posted it, someone came alongside her and donated the full amount of her tuition. What a blessing!
I’m going to leave her link up for the time being as she has been picked for a mission trip to France and is looking for people to seed into that ministry.
We look forward to checking in with her again soon to see how that’s going.

Rainy Galloso – Cindy McGill Ministries, Freedom Lounge LA California
Cindy Mcgill’s ( http://www.cindymcgill.org )team that I have been invited to be a part of, ministers and loves on the people caught within the porn industry, sex trafficking and the New Age movement. Her outreach has been established at the porn conventions in LA, Nevada, and Burning Man. Places and people most of us would not even give a second thought to. Partnering with me gives you the opportunity to be a part of an outreach that is branded with love and is known for accessing the deepest part of the Fathers heart on behalf of these forgotten ones.
My own life has taught me that God is real, grace is real, and the all-encompassing love of the Father is, yes, real. What if that’s all it took to save these people…so desperate and so dirty and so empty and so lost? The knowledge, that to Him, to the one we call God, Abba Father, El Shaddai, they are none of those things? What if all it took was a simple gesture, a kind word, someone who said it doesn’t have to be this way. We are called to be fishers of men, fishers of women. We are called to share the heart of our King with those who need it most.
My hope is that the Lord will lead you to seed into this ministry. My hope is that your own life may have taught you the beauty in the work that is being done to bring a message of hope and redemption to those most in need of it. My hope is that you will see these people the way Jesus does, the way He has asked me and taught me too. Deserving…full of potential…washed clean…His.

RU Recovery – Rockford, Illinois
Have you ever had a serious injury? Broken bone? Some sort of wound that was big enough to require surgery or stitches? The injury itself takes but a moment. Yes it’s a painful, awful moment, but it’s over pretty quickly. The hard part, even though it’s what we need, is the healing. How many of us have lamented the recovery time from a sprained ankle, or the physical therapy necessary after leg surgery, or the itchiness and unpleasantness of wearing a cast on a broken arm? In that same vein, so much of our walk with the Lord involves healing and recovery. Even those of us that come to know him at a young age will inevitably experience the pain and pitfalls of being human and will need the healing presence of the Holy Spirit and the all encompassing love of Jesus.
With a focus on freedom from addiction, based in Illinois, but with chapters around the world, RU is a program designed to lead people into that healing with a patient and gentle hand.
The goal is recovery and triumph, the tools are God based and Spirit led, and the need is real. Look around your office, your community, your church, maybe even your own home, and you will most assuredly see someone who needs healing.
Abbott Loop Community Church – Anchorage, Alaska
With a humble beginning in 1959 and explosive population growth sandwiched between steady expansion of the church building itself, Abbott Loop has been a staple of the Anchorage community for over 5 decades. Passionately served by only 3 lead pastors in all that time, the church has gone through many seasons of both progress and challenge as any church body does.
In 2012 a record amount of snow caused a roof collapse over the main sanctuary. By the Grace of God no one was injured, but the need for a new roof was an unexpected and immediate dilemma. Construction on the roof is ongoing and the funding for the new roof is being budgeted in phases through a variety of financing.
Abbott Loop is a wonderful church, full of wonderful people who love the Lord and actively seek His will for their body and their local community. Believers in the 5 fold ministry of the church, Abbott Loop is committed to spreading the message of the love of Christ and an intimate and personal relationship with the Living God.
